‘Am I worried that the Java platform may not last forever…? No.’ That was the overriding message of a late-night post by Sun CEO Jonathan Schwartz yesterday, in response to the welter of comments left on his blog after his announcement a week ago today of the SUNW-to-JAVA stock ticker switch that took effect on the NASDAQ already on Monday August 26.
